Pasko, Paskiw, Pakso, Paksiw!

May isa pa daw. Sabi no Koki, "panyo ang universal gift".
Haha. Ang drama.

3. Kris Kringle
Eto yung may mga "something sweet", "something yucky", "something soft", "something hard", basta lahat ng may something. Ngayong taon, nag-ganito kami sa school. Sa subject lang na TLE. Something healthy daw. Birch Tree na lang ang nirelago ko. Mas mura kasi. Hahaha.
Ok.

Double celebration kumbaga. Ayos. Sa New Year na lang kami kumakain ng spaghetti, salad, cake at ham. Grabe, sangkatutak na pagkain kami pag New Year.

Chismosa? Hahaha. Maya-maya, may maririnig ako.

"Oi!

Joke.

cancelled Christmas Party

I don't know why our class officers cancelled our Christmas party. They'd decided it yesterday and that makes me very irritated until now. They argued about the said topic--no Christmas party--while I was just listening to their explanations and to my other classmates' feedbacks. Argh.

My seatmate, Krizelle, keeps on saying "bakit walang christmas party?! nakakainis naman oh!". I think she said that many times, not less that 15 times. hahaha! We're both very excited because that would be our last Christmas party this highschool.

There's one thing that made me really REALLY annoyed: the officers didn't organize the party at the first place. Planning and blah blah blah were the things they just did. But they did one thing: collect money for the food. Pero hanggang doon lang! What happened to those moneys? They're REFUNDED! amf.

i hate it.

Yiruma

Yah, Yiruma is his name. He's my current inspiration in playing piano. Though I know not him very well, I've read some informations about him from Mr. Wikipedia and in his official website. Blah blah. :D

Yiruma ("I Ru-ma", I think that's how you pronounce his name as Mr. Wikipedia said) was born on Feb. 15, 1978. Haha. Quite young huh? He was born in Korea but raised in England. He began playing piano at the age of 5. He went to England and study there. Mr. Wikipedia also said that he was married to Son Hye-im. What a very lucky girl. ;)

Everytime I listen to his songs, I have the chilly-feeling. Though it is hard to search an original piano sheets of his songs, I'm still finding for them! Luckily, I have four of them and I'm currently practicing those sheets. I practice the "River Flows in You" first. Hahaha. It's kinda hard because it has a parts that is fast. :O
Wii. But I'm trying to do my best just to play it. "Love Me" and "Kiss the Rain" are one of the most beautiful and super nakakakilig! I really love those songs.

Here the video where he plays "Love Me". :D

I love the way how he press the piano keys. His hands looks so light. -_-

I just hope that someday I'll be like him - like him that can play piano very very very well - even not that popular :D
&& I want to meet him in person. Hahaha. I know it's very impossible.

PS: He's very cute ;)

140th Young Women Anniversary

The celebration of Young Women Organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Young Women was done last Saturday (Nov. 21, 2009). It was the 140th! The leaders made it sporty and enjoying, as usual. Fun.

Our ward, Imus, and the Noveleta Ward were joined as a team - same as other wards in Cavite Stake. We have plenty of parlor games, cook-off and cheering presentation.

The first thing we do was parading from SM Rosario to the Rosario Chapel. Phew. It's just a short walking but it was tiring because to that hot sun. Argh. Activity was officially opened. We've presented our cheering as well as the other teams. Our team, Green Team, was first on the line. We presented first.

Then, after that body-sweating cheering, we had a short break. Haha. Yeah, just a very short break. The "cooks" and the "table setters" prepared by wearing their costumes. A chef uniform.:D

The cook-off began!

After the judging or the foods, we hurriedly grabbed the spoons and forks to taste the dishes. Thanks for the foods, they saved our hunger. Hahaha! The Tofu Sisig was the one I loved in all those dishes. I can't stop myself to spoon more after every taste.

After that "food-attacking", we took our lunch. TAPSILOG! whooh! yummy.
Rest.

Parlor Games time!!!!

We had "Pinoy Henyo", "Gulaman game" (what?), "Relays", "Patagalan ng Yelo sa Kamay", "Padamihan ng Holen ng Makukuha Gamit ang Paa" and some more. I just can't name the games. Take a look the pictures, you'll determine it. I hope so.

me..running for Gold. haha

i was trying to escape from the hole of the tire! it was unbelievable that i fit in! :D

the BORED ones. waiting and watching game.

eating some coolers.yum.

After those happenings, awarding time na! We've received a Silver Award for Table Setting, Over All Champion, and an Award for the Best Cooked Dishes. Ayiii.

Sharing jokes with other young women happened while waiting for others to go home. Ugh. That was a tiring but enjoying day. And it was memorable. Why? Because it gave me too much fun and that activity made my throat sore, giving me a "froggy" sound. hahaha.

facts?

An email was sent through my Yahoo mailbox. I was a little bit annoyed with this because all foods listed here were my favorites. Argh. I don't know if this is true. I guess, it is true because there's an explanation. I want to share what those are.

Brain Damaging Habits

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2 . Overeating=2 0
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shirnage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6 . Too much Sleeping
Sleep allows our brain to rest.. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells..

7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3 . Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives,
7. Consuming unhealthy As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store. We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'

The top five cancer-causing foods are:

1.. Hot Dogs

Because they are high in nitrates, the Cancer Prevention Coalition advises that children eat no more than 12 hot dogs a month. If you can't live without hot dogs, buy those made without sodium nitrate.

2. Processed meats and Bacon

Also high in the same sodium nitrates found in hot dogs, bacon, and other processed meats raise the risk of heart disease. The saturated fat in bacon also contributes to cancer.

3. Doughnuts

Doughnuts are cancer-causing double trouble. First, they are made with white flour, sugar, and hydrogenated oils, then fried at high temperatures. Doughnuts, says Adams , may be the worst food you can possibly eat to raise your risk of cancer.

4. French fries
Like doughnuts, French fries are made with hydrogenated oils and then fried at high temperatures. They also contain cancer- causing acryl amides which occur during the frying process. They should be called cancer fries, not French fries, said Adams .

5. Chips, crackers, and cookies

All are usually made with white flour and sugar. Even the ones whose labels claim to be free of trans-fats generally contain small amounts of trans-fats.

whoah! I can't believe that my favorite foods were listed there. Haha. Okay. I'm trying not to take those foods again...yeah, again. :)
